Dr. Grace Valina, MD
Her journey to becoming a leading expert in the field has taken her across the globe, where she trained under the guidance of renowned aesthetic plastic surgeons, oculofacial plastic surgeons, and cosmetic surgeons in the United States, Russia, Germany, and the Philippines.
Before mastering the art of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Valina honed her surgical skills in the demanding field of general surgery, trauma surgery and completed a fellowship in minimally invasive foregut surgeries.
Her unwavering dedication to excellence has not only earned her accolades in the medical world but also extended to the realm of arts and academics.
Dr. Joan Grace Valina holds degrees from several esteemed institutions, including Wayne State University, Michigan State University, Loyola University Medical Center, Allegheny Health Network, and the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Additionally, she excelled academically, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during her computer science studies for her bachelor’s degree.
Her outstanding academic prowess was further acknowledged with multiple academic scholarships during both her bachelor’s and medical degrees. Throughout her residency training, Dr. Valina’s exceptional technical skills set her apart from her peers and seniors during residency and fellowship, earning her a reputation for exceptional surgical technical excellence.
As an attending surgeon, she took on various administrative roles in hospitals before fully immersing herself in the world of aesthetic plastic surgery.
In her practice, Dr. Valina places great emphasis on individualized care. She understands that each patient possesses unique anatomy, physiology, healing capabilities, and aspirations.
